You can request deletion of your AlelouyaTV account and personal data at any time. Here is how it works.

Quick Summary

No account access? Email privacy@alelouya.tv from your registered address.

We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
Account & Profile
Your account credentials, name, email address, profile picture, and any preferences or settings you have configured.
Activity Data
Watch history, favorites, playlists, viewing progress, search history, and any personalized recommendations tied to your account.
User-Generated Content
Comments, prayer requests, testimonials, and other content you have submitted to AlelouyaTV — unless previously published anonymously, in which case the content remains but is permanently disassociated from your identity.
Linked Social Accounts
Any OAuth connections (Facebook, Google, Apple) used to sign in to AlelouyaTV are unlinked, and the associated identifiers are removed from our systems.
What We May Retain
Legal & Financial Records
Donation receipts, tax records, and other financial documentation are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically 7 years), in a form that limits use to legal compliance only.
Aggregated Analytics
Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
Backup Snapshots
Your data may persist in encrypted backup snapshots for up to 90 days after deletion, after which it is permanently overwritten as part of our normal backup rotation.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — In-App (Recommended)
Sign in to your account, navigate to Settings → Security, and select "Delete Account." You will be asked to confirm. Deletion begins immediately upon confirmation.
Option 2 — Email Request (privacy@alelouya.tv)
Send an email from the address registered on your account. Include your account email and the words "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We may ask for additional verification before processing.
Option 3 — Facebook Login Users
If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also trigger a data deletion request from your Facebook account settings under "Apps and Websites." Facebook will notify us, and we will process the request the same way as a direct request.
Response Timeline
Acknowledgment
We acknowledge receipt of every deletion request within 7 calendar days.
Verification
For email requests, we may take up to 7 additional days to verify your identity before processing, especially if the request comes from an address we cannot match to an account.
Completion
Deletion of your active account data is completed within 30 calendar days of a verified request, in accordance with applicable privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks).
Confirmation
You will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete, sent to the address that submitted the request.
Your Other Privacy Rights
In addition to deletion, you have the right to access a copy of your personal data, correct inaccurate information, and object to certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.
